Clean Living

My first blog

What to say about my first Blog? Not a clue, but the gratitude that I have in my heart this morning is unmistakeable. Clean Living is growing! (And I’m learning to blog!) People are reaching out, asking questions about our services, and we continue to book new clients every day!  Thank you so very much  Burlington!

As I enter this next phase of life in business as well as in my personal life I’m so grateful for all the lessons along the way.  🙂 Next year I’ll be 50, and this year my beautiful daughter will be 25! How is that possible? While I’m not altogether crazy about announcing entering my 5th. decade, I am sure grateful to be doing so. Many of you know a few years ago I was on a path that would only end in disaster. It did, but luckily I made it out alive. A bit older, and quite broken, but I made it out alive. The lesson came when I had to start learning how to actually live and begin working daily to repair all that damage I did to myself and so many around me. It works if you work it!

This journey of self-love is long overdue and I am loving this new sense of purpose I have with Clean Living. It’s more than just a cleaning service to me. I’m hoping to build a work culture that promotes healthy living by providing and promoting Clean Living spaces for the environment as well as Clean Living type foods and habits for our bodies.

I wish I had started this journey 20 years ago, but here I am today! I feel like I’m literally just starting to figure this crazy life out. There’s so many experiences out there just waiting to be had. I heard a saying recently that really resonated both with the old, unhealthy way I used to live my life, but also for the new “improved” way I choose to live my life today. It was “You have the life you’re willing to live.” Man oh man, did that ring home for me!!! I was my own worst enemy and still can be on any given day. Today, I choose to think about things differently. I look for the good. I try to see the beauty instead of the ugly in every possible situation. It doesn’t always work perfectly – and sometimes not all. The point. I try. I am a beautiful work in progress just like the rest of us, and for today, that is enough. 🙂
